Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice in advance or the deposit will be forfeited. We will endeavour to ring you in the morning of the appointment as a reminder courtesy call if possible (BUT NOT GUARANTEED).

As a courtesy to other clients following your appointment, late arrivals will result in a reduction of treatment time. Please do not ask the impossible, we will endeavour to carry out what we can within the time slot allocated, or suggest a re-booking. All times stated include preparation of room and client; i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of each treatment.

Please switch off mobile phones during your visit to the salon.

All treatments are available in a course of 6 'BUY 6, GET 5% OFF' and course of 12 'BUY 12. GET 10% OFF'. Courses must be completed within 6 or 12 months. Courses are not transferrable or refundable. Full payment on first appointment.

Salon hygeine is, of course, the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness all our sterilisation equipment is approved by the local Environmental Health Officer. We only use new sterilised disposable needles for each client.

Gift vouchers are valid for up to six months from the date of purchase. They can be used for any beauty treatments and products at 'World of Beauty by Katy'. There is no cash redemption.

We accept most credit cards. All prices include value added tax at the current rate.

Always allow at least 1 hour to digest your meals before having body treatments.

Never consume alcohol before any treatment.

If you have any of the following it is essential to tell your therapist before your body treatment:

• Pacemaker
• Heart Condition
• Diabetes
• Allergies
• Epilepsy
• Contact Lenses
• Pregnancy
• Metal Plates or Pins
• Coil.

Do not have any heat treatments or undertake excercise (e.g. sauna, sunbed, jacuzzi, workout or swim etc.) less than 8 hours before or 24 hours after your wax.
